Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her early years were spent at Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. Instilling a passion for film within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula was a fan of school co-curriculars and was particularly fond of drama. Paula loved acting with friends, and she participated in the school's stage productions. She performed in numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. As a student in a summer camp at the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. The program was a PBS 3-month assignment to make documentary films. She started her career as a television production assistant when she completed this assignment. Then, she switched to producing documentaries. Although she enjoyed what she did, she yearned for acting roles. She began her journey into acting by playing Will Smith's co-star in love story Hitch. In the years since, she has appeared in a number of well-known television and film shows.
