Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born in Beirut. The name she was given was the Arabic name'ml Amal, which translates as "hope". Her family emigrated from Lebanon when she was just two years old during the Lebanese Civil War, and relocated to Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese Druze who is from Baakline which is a village located situated in the Chouf District of the Alam al-Din dynasty. He completed an MBA at the American University of Beirut. Following the end of the civil war in 1991[12]13] He returned to Lebanon. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. She was a reporter for political issues as well as foreign editor for the Saudi-owned newspaper al-Hayat. She was the founder of the PR company International Communication Experts. This company is a part of an additional firm that is specialized in booking famous people as well as publicity photos and events. Amal was the smallest of her three kids that include a half-sister (Tala) along with two other siblings of her father's previous marriage. (18) Amal went to Dr Challoner's high school, which is a grammar school for girls located in Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, before going on to the going to university. Following her graduation of St Hugh's College in Oxford with an Exhibition Grant and the Shrigley Award, she studied at St Hugh's College. [19][20] In 2000, she graduated from St. George's College in Oxford, with the Master of Arts degree (BA) in Jurisprudence. The following year she began her studies at New York University School of Law for a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M). She received the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award in recognition of excellence in the area of entertainment law.
